Terms of Service

Last updated: April 16, 2026 · Intentional Engines Inc.

The Service

Intentional Engines Inc. (“Engines”, “we”) provides Intentional ID, a passkey-based authentication service at intentional-engines.com, along with related marketing and admin surfaces. By using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your Account

Intentional ID accounts are provisioned by invitation or via participating consumer apps. You are responsible for the security of the device on which you register passkeys.

Do not share your device. Passkeys are bound to the device(s) you register them on. If you lose access, use the email recovery flow.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to register passkeys for accounts you do not control.
  • Probe, scan, or attempt to compromise the authentication service or admin dashboard.
  • Circumvent rate limits or authentication requirements.
  • Use the service to harass, impersonate, or deceive others.

Consumer Apps

Consumer apps (SeeMyZakat, Intentional Capital, and others) integrate with Intentional ID via a documented OAuth-style auth flow. Each consumer app is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Engines is responsible only for the authentication step.

Intellectual Property

The Intentional ID service, the Intentional Engines website, and related software are owned by Intentional Engines Inc. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service for authentication purposes.

Warranties & Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We rely on third-party services (Vercel, Upstash, Resend) whose availability is outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTENTIONAL ENGINES INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
